The VLM support system at a glance

Since 2006, Viprinet has created an amazing number of high-quality WAN bonding routers "Made in Germany". Over time, all customers were benefitting from new features and improvements provided. Even today, we still support and improve router models that had been brought to market 10 years ago. Many of Viprinet products are modular, and can be upgraded with newer modem cards. We believe in sustainable products, that neither have to be replaced after a couple of years, and that aren't exposed to the public Internet without receiving security updates.

Supporting products sold 10 years ago obviously is quite a cost position. To enjoy regular Firmware updates, support services, product replacements and device upgrades, customers therefore need to subscribe to a VLM service contract.

Since January 2020, the newly founded VLM Support GmbH has taken over providing all support and updates for Viprinet products. Our team of highly experienced engineers are working closely together with Nerdherrschaft, the company that has been providing the Firmware development for the products for the last 8 years.

Service Levels

We are offering three different service plans to cover all your needs. Plans are available as subscriptions using Credit Card or SEPA payments. You may freely choose the billing interval, and are able to upgrade to a higher plan anytime.

In addition to this automated subscription system, pre-paid long-term "bundle licenses" may be bought from authorized Viprinet sales partners. This is ideal for those customers who rather would like to have CapEx at the time of the device purchase over the OpEx model of a subscription.

Signing up

To sign up, you first need to create a customer account in our Management Portal.

You will then register your routers to the VLM system. For this, you will need your routers' serial number and the Support ID, which you'll both find on a sticker on the back or bottom side of your router.

Afterwards, select the plan you wish to subscribe to, and provide your payment details. You can freely choose your billing interval.
