No Log4J at Viprinet & VLM

Neither the Viprinet products nor VLM Support GmbH are affected by the Log4J vulnerability in any way. Neither the router firmware, nor components thereof, use Java and/or Log4J. Our other Viprinet-related systems, i.e. the VLM portal, the licence and update servers or even this website, also do not use Java/Log4J in any form directly or indirectly.

The new 5G Module is shipping now

All pre-orders placed for our new 5G modules are scheduled to be shipped to our customers within the next few days. 

Due to the crisis in the electronics industry, lead times for further 5G orders may be long. We ask you to place any orders for the module as early as possible.

End of Service Notification & Trade-In-Programme revised and extended

At the end of 2020, we announced that we would declare the "End of Service" for some very old Viprinet models in November of this year. Based on customer feedback we have decided to adapt our EoS plans to the needs of our customers.

Welcome to the VLM Support GmbH

Since 2006, Viprinet has produced a large number of high-quality WAN bonding routers "Made in Germany". Over time, all customers have benefited from the new features and improvements. Even today, we still support and improve router models that were introduced to the market 10 years ago. Many Viprinet products are modular and can be upgraded with newer modem cards. We focus on sustainable products that do not need to be replaced even after a few years, and which are not available on the public Internet without security updates

Supporting products that were sold 10 years ago is of course quite a cost item. To benefit from regular firmware updates, support services, product replacements and device upgrades, customers must therefore sign a VLM service contract.

Since January 2020, the newly founded VLM Support GmbH has taken over the entire support and all updates for Viprinet products. Our team of very experienced support staff works closely together with the company Nerdherrschaft, which has been responsible for the firmware development of the products for 8 years.

Service levels

We offer three different service plans to cover all your needs. The plans are available as subscriptions and can be paid by credit card or SEPA. You can choose the billing interval and switch to a higher plan at any time.

In addition to this automated subscription system, you can purchase prepaid, long-term "bundle licenses" from authorized Viprinet sales partners. This is ideal for those customers who prefer to have capital expenditures at the time of device purchase rather than the running operating expenditures of a subscription.

How to register

To register, you must first create a customer account in our management portal.

Then register your routers with the VLM system. To do this, you need the serial number of your router and the support ID, both of which you can find on a sticker on the back or bottom of your router.

Then select the plan you want to subscribe to and enter your payment information. You are free to choose your billing interval.
